Windows 10 Clipboard History – Enable or Disable

Windows 10 clipboard - keep copies of multiple links

Windows 10 has recently rolled out a feature that more people should know about. The ability to keep track of everything you have used on the copy/paste function. It used to be that as soon as you copied the next link etc, the old one was gone.

No longer! Windows 10 clipboard history now allows you to press the Windows Key + V to bring up your clipboard history. From here you can choose the link you need and copy it across to where it is needed. Putting your productivity through the roof.

However, some of you may not have it turned on by default. Or, for those who need more privacy and want to turn it off, here’s how.

How to Enable / Disable Windows 10 Clipboard History

Press the windows key and type clipboard. Clipboard settings will pop up in the result. Go ahead and click on it.

As you can see above, it’s now just a case of one click to decide whether you want Windows 10 clipboard history to save multiple items or not. Personally, it will be a great help to me. However, if you copy a lot of passwords or sensitive information, it might be less than ideal for you.

Either way, you now know how to switch it on or off. And remember, to find this awesome feature, hold down the windows key and press v. Simple as that.
