Don’t worry, to make a kids sandpit, you won’t need any woodworking skills. In fact you won’t need any tools, skills or abilities whatsoever for this one.
Childrens sandpits are a great idea in theory. In practice however, not so much. They end up full of water and covered in cat poo and god knows what else. Not to mention that the only time a child can use it is in the sun. Which means they can’t be left too long as they get too hot and start to burn.
Well, here is a cheaper way to make a sandpit that solves all these problems. Use a cheap two man tent. Fill it with sand and let them play in the shade til their hearts content.
I mean, why bother spending a fortune on a nice table sandpit when you can create one so easily? Not only that, but this kids sandpit will last longer, be used more and can be extremely cheap. In fact, you can currently grab yourself a two men tent on Amazon for just $16. Where as even the cheapest plastic sandpit is at least double that.
