It’s at this point where I’m meant to write out at least a few paragraphs about the rules of the elf on a shelf or give you a story. But none of us want to wade through that. So let’s get on with it.
Elf on the Shelf 2020 Ideas
Lego people and string is all you need in this homage to Gulliver’s Travels.
Have a Xmas train or an old train set laying about? Use it to set the scene.
Wash Your Hands! Here’s a great tip from Elf on the Shelf to get your kids cleaning their hands.
A stick and some marshmallows create an easy dumbbell. I used Lego for the bench.
Lights strung between your tree and elsewhere are great for an escape bid!
Have your elf sliding down the stairs in a shoe or slipper.
Use an LED tea light to “roast” marshmallows over.
Have your elf making paper snowflakes.
Naughty Elves sit in the naughty chair!
Make an Elf Kissing booth. All I used was an A4 piece of paper, lipstick and some pens.
