I have wonderful memories of stir frys as a child. My grandfather used to make one every single week and it always tasted amazing. As I grew into an adult I tried to make stir fry for myself but it never tasted as good. There was something I could not get right. So I stopped making them for a long time. Which is a shame because not only are stir frys amazing, they are also healthy and very quick to cook.
Recently though I decided to have another go. After all, it’s 15+ years later. I had a career in the catering industry behind me. How hard can it be? Again, it did not go well. It was then that I realised it was something I needed to research if I wanted to make an authentic tasting stir fry.
