We keep hearing about the internet of things (IoT). It seems to have risen to prominence quite recently. But what is it and how do you explain it? It basically breaks down that the internet of things is a load of interconnected devices. From web cameras, appliances and devices. However, recently there has been a hacking controversy surrounding IoT.
You see, the problem is that most IoT devices are cheap chinese generics with easy passwords and no real malware defence. Which makes them incredibly easy to hack. This means there are a lot of internet connected web cams that have the potential to be hacked. Not great for privacy.
