Hands up if you love procrastinating. Yeah, me too. I should be sat working but inevitably I end up drifting back to social media, wanting to know the latest goings on. You’re probably just like me. And like me, trying to increase productivity has probably led you to all sorts of solutions.
But the problem is, they all end up failing. Plugin’s that stop you from browsing certain websites end up being turned off. Promises to reward yourself if you just ignore Facebook for another hour fall by the wayside.
But just recently I came across a new plugin that helps increase productivity in a new way. It’s called Todobook and can be found on the Chrome webstore. It adds a jobs list in the place of your Facebook feed that helps you to stop procrastinating by giving you things to do before you can get the news feed back.
But you don’t use Facebook? Well it also works on Twitter and Reddit too. And I’m sure they are going to be adding more social media sites to the list. As for me, the plugin has so far helped me to increase productivity. Now if I want to spend my time browsing the news feed, I have to complete my tasks first. Whether that will always be the case, I have no idea. But for now it’s working. If you’re looking for something to help you too, you could do worse than checking it out.
