How To Create The Perfect Campfire

Ok, confession time. I’m not one of those people who you would call “outdoorsy”. I camped a little as a child. But the furthest I have ventured as an adult is sleeping in a tent in the garden with my child. So knowing how to build the perfect campfire is pretty far from my knowledge base!

However, I have always harboured ambitions to become “one with nature” so I am always on the look out for good advice when it comes to camping, hiking etc. So when I came across this infographic from Fix I just had to share it. It’s chock full of advice for those of us who are fire novices. It even includes fire do’s and don’ts and a guide to putting out a fire. Which, I confess, is something I probably would not have thought about until it was time to put out the fire. And at that point I would have no idea what to do.
