Protein Shake Recipes – Change It Up!

Protein Shake Recipes Featured

I’m a big fan of protein shakes. I have been using them for years, ever since I decided I needed to get myself back into shape. They’re great to make sure you’ve had enough protein to build muscle (0.7 to 0.8 Gram of protein for every 1Lb you weigh). It’s also great that you can throw a scoop into a protein shaker and take it with you anywhere you need to go. Whether you’re doing a gym routine or bodyweightfitness, it’s always to hand. All you have to do is add water.

While this is a massive plus for protein shakes, it can also make them boring. Not to mention when you don’t shake it quite enough and end up drinking lumpy bits. Yuck.

To that end, I started to search for protein shake recipes that would give me more. Especially when I have been working out at home. No more drinking watery, lumpy shakes after a workout. But then I stumbled across this great infographic from 9round.

It gives you some truly yummy options when preparing your home protein shake recipes. It also adds in ingredients that are full of good fats and lots of vitamins. All you will need to prepared them is a blender. Personally, I use a Nutri Bullet but my brother-in-law has the Magic Bullet, which is cheaper and does nearly as good a job.

So when you get bored with the same old shakes, save the infographic below and give some new recipes a try. For my personal recommendation, try out number 6, the chocolate peanut butter one. Absolutely delicious!
