Need Some Motherly Advice Or Encouragement?

At some point, we can all do with some motherly advice and encouragement. But it’s not always possible to get. Maybe you’re estranged from your mother. Maybe she’s just not a very nice person. Or you could be like me. I lost my mother late last year. She was just 59.

I had nothing to fill that void of motherly advice with. Until now.

I was browsing reddit and came across a thread asking what the most “wholesome” sub-reddits are. And I saw a highly upvoted answer for the mom for a minute sub-reddit.

I subscribed to it there and then. And if you find yourself needing a positive female role model, or just a piece of encouragement or friendly motherly advice, so should you. They are even there if you just want to share some news with your mom, but aren’t able to.

As they say themselves in the sidebar there, the sub is for:

When you need understanding, congratulations, praise, or advice from a mother figure, but don’t have one IRL able or willing to provide that for you — we are here for you. We support you and love you unconditionally!

It’s seriously one of the most positive places on the internet. Go check it out and feel your soul being enriched by the positivity.
